Two years ago, the idea for KW Book-mo-Bike took root over a succession of potlucks, campfires and bike rides. Our vision was to grow a project that would bring together reading, biking and community.
Trent Bauman can be seen around the city sketching the urban environment. He is an avid art collector, lover of books and architecture and involved in many community projects. In his spare time he is co-owner of Menno Martin Contractor in St Jacobs.
Meg is a professional artist and library assistant at Kitchener Public Library. She is passionate about celebrating local arts and culture. When she isn't reading or working on art, she is often seen biking the streets of downtown Kitchener, gardening in her community plot, looking at birds or hanging out at a folk music show.
Liana is a doer, dreamer, maker and communicator. She is passionate about community and has volunteered on many different projects over the years. Some of her favourites have been The Human Library, Social Media Breakfast, KW Home Learners, La Leche League and Knit'n'Lit.

Juanita Metzger is a community developer and organizer, both professionally and in her own neighbourhood. She is passionate about citizen-led projects that engage neighbours to take initiative for making things happen! You can find Juanita involved in Little Libraries of KW, community gardens, supporting local food movements and soaking up all things arts and culture.
